Stay Connected to the One Who Fights for You

Pray at All Times

Hey friend,

We've covered every piece of the armor this week: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word.

But Paul doesn't stop there. He adds one more thing that ties it all together:

"Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints." (Ephesians 6:18, BSB)

Prayer isn't a piece of armor sitting next to the others. It's the thread running through every piece.

You can know the truth, believe you're righteous in Christ, walk in peace, hold up faith, guard your mind with Scripture, and still miss the point if you're doing all of it without staying connected to the One who actually fights for you.

This is the last email in this series, but I hope it's the start of something ongoing for you, not the end.

Putting on the armor isn't a one-time event. It's a daily practice, and I'd love to keep walking with you.

Today's Next Step: A few places to keep growing from here:

Reflection Question: How can prayer become part of your everyday rhythm, not just a crisis response?

Prayer: Keep me close to You.

Stand firm today, friend. May the Lord strengthen your heart, guard your mind, and remind you that you never fight alone. It has been a joy to walk through these eight days with you, and I hope you'll stay close.

In Christ, Karen
